Hindustan Antibiotics Limited (HAL) happens to be the first drug manufacturer of India. HAL has received active co-operation of WHO and UNICEF. HAL was started in 1954 producing antibiotics like Penicillin, Streptomycin, Gentamicin, Ampicillin & Amoxycillin etc. HAL has diversified in formulation activity and has facility to manufacture various dosage forms - injectables, capsules, tablets, large volume parentrals, liquid orals, etc. conforming to pharmacopoeial standards. HAL has also diversified into agro-vet products. HAL has an aggressively working R&D department which is working on number of diseases which are to be found in India.

The candidate should posses a degree in Science / Pharmacy with Post Graduation in Business Management / Marketing Management. He should have relevant post qualification experience of 14 / 12 years in Agro-Vet Sales function in a Pharmaceutical Industry out of which 5 years should be in a senior managerial position with at least one year in the next below cadre.
The incumbent will be responsible for Marketing and sales of Agricultural and Veterinary Products by motivating and monitoring the sales field force. In case of established brands he will be responsible for promoting them through volume distributors and reach the farmers in remote places. Besides, he will be involved in promotion of brands, generation of activities, introduction of new products, impart training to field force. Follow up of field trials for agricultural products, preparation of literature along with expanding the existing filed force for agro-vet products.
