Video Editor required by EF Information Systems Pvt Ltd in Banglore
| Post: Requirement: | Video Editor Male / Female Video Editor will be responsible both for visual editing and online editing of EF’s promotional videos, combining creative and technical development skills. He or she will be responsible for editing promotional videos from existing film material, for display on EF’s website, on external websites such as YouTube, and on DVDs. Requirements • Ability to present a portfolio showing own video work, both informative and commercials. • Being able to practically showcase the video editing skills during Interview. • 3-6 years professional work experience as a video editor. • Proficiency using Apple Final Cut Pro. • Proficiency using 2D Compositing tools and color grading is a plus. • A great sense for visual design and typography. • Excellent sense of rhythmic pace, timing and continuity. • Ability to visualize the written words and express it in pictures. • A solid understanding of web standards and information architecture. • Experience in web design using Adobe software is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator). • Experience with animation, After Effects, Basic Action Scripting or 3D programs is also a plus. • Experience in storytelling, script writing, lighting or film music is a plus, but not a formal requirement. • Fluency in English and great communication skills. • Self-drive. • Ability to stay organized, to keep deadlines, and to keep EF’s high design standards even under pressure. • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment. The Video Editor will report to the Video Manager in Europe and/or the Senior Video Editor in Bangalore. For HR matters, the Bangalore video team will report to the office manager at EF Bangalore.
